Powerful Search Capabilities


Find exactly what you are looking for with the powerful built-in search functionality. Retrieve files by date, document flag, title, phrases or type. Search will understand fuzzy phrases or misspellings.

Intelligent Hit Lists


Documents are scored based on how close their textual content matches the user’s search query. Documents with the highest score are displayed at the top of the hit list.

Web Browser Search Interface


PowerRetrieve v5 provides a simple to use, optional web browser based search interface. No specific software is needed to access PowerRetrieve via the web search interface – other than the Adobe Reader.

PowerRetrieve is an Intelligent Information Management system that automatically indexes the entire textual content of both scanned documents and electronic office files, rendering all imported files to PDF format for uniformity in the document viewer and for compatibility with other systems.

Document retrieval is simple, fast and efficient with hit words being highlighted in colour on the PDF (including scanned image based documents) making it easier for users to spot hits quickly. Our fuzzy search technology produces unparalleled results in terms of its ability to find exact and near matches, overcoming both typographical and OCR errors; and the synonym search capability will find different words with the same or similar meaning, thus enabling you to find all relevant information in a matter of seconds.
