The Sirius Group

My name is Steve Whale, and I am the IT Manager for The Sirius Group. Mastercopy has been our photocopier provider for over 15 years, a testament to their quality of service, attention to our growing requirements and competitive pricing.

The Sirius Group have four regional offices across the UK, all supplied with copiers from Mastercopy. Previously we were partnered with a Xerox franchise. However, we soon encountered difficulties regarding the support and maintenance of the copiers. Our IT department is managed from our Head office in Durham, and from there, we provide remote support to offices and our working sites across the UK. Once we completed the deal with our local Xerox franchise, we were then passed onto Xerox’s global support system for any future issues. As we don’t have IT support locally in each of our regional offices, it became a burden and an inconvenience to other staff in the business to resolve IT issue with the photocopier. A staff member with no IT background would have to call the Xerox global support and then take directional steps over the phone to try and resolve the issue. To The Sirius Group this meant we had staff members having to stop their work to carry out tasks unrelated to their role. Staff also struggled to understand the instructions and were often left dirty from the process.

When our time to renew came around, we knew we needed to find a company that fits our business. With Mastercopy we feel we have found that! They support us nationally across the UK via phone/email with highly trained engineers. They also use technologies that monitor our ink consumption, posting ink direct to our office locations so each copier is always in action.
