Reports to: Operations Director
Location: Thornaby HQ, with field activity across the North East
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Role purpose
To drive new business growth across the full Mastercopy portfolio. You will build relationships with businesses across the North East, understand their challenges, and bring them onto our Managed IT, Managed Print and Managed Intelligence services.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop and win new business across Managed IT and Total Care, Managed Print and DocFlow Managed Intelligence.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects across Teesside and the wider North East.
- Run discovery meetings, understand client needs, and present tailored solutions in plain English.
- Produce proposals, quotes and tender responses, working closely with the technical team.
- Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales targets and activity KPIs.
- Keep accurate, up to date records in the CRM.
- Represent Mastercopy at networking events and help grow our local profile.
- Work hand in hand with operations and engineering to ensure a smooth onboarding for every new client.
Essential skills and experience
- A proven B2B sales or business development track record, ideally in IT managed services, telecoms, print or technology.
- A solid understanding of managed IT and/or managed print services.
- Excellent relationship building and consultative selling skills.
- Self motivated, target driven and well organised.
- Strong knowledge of the North East business landscape.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience selling cyber security, document management or AI and automation services.
- An existing local business network.
- Confidence with CRM and pipeline tools.
